Sahara India Parivar has decided to withdraw from all sponsorship with BCCI just ahead of the IPL players’ auction for season 5. The auction for IPL 2012 will have a total of 144 players who will be going under the hammer in Bangalore. Sahara Pune Warriors will not be a part of the auction.
The Sahara group has cited several reasons for its sudden pull out of its IPL team and Team India.
