Rajasthan have scored more than 450 in the first innings on four of their nine previous matches this Ranji season to gain upper hand on most occasions. The final looks no different after Kanitkar won the toss and elected to bat first.
Vineet Saxena celebrated his 10th first class century by clipping a full pitched delivery towards midwicket and Chopra was just 14 runs short of the three figure mark.
Can Rajasthan press home the advantage by building a huge first innings total and put pressure on the host or will Tamil Nadu fight back by picking wickets and restricting the visitors. It could be a decisive day in the outcome of the Ranji Trophy 2012 final.
